Have you ever wondered what goes into making a bespoke face paint palette? It's not just a case of popping some paints into a tray — it's a carefully considered, time-intensive process that Sally-Ann Lynch has perfected over years of professional face painting experience.
It Starts With the Colours
Every palette begins with a vision. Sally-Ann carefully selects each colour combination based on her years of experience as a professional face painter and trainer. She knows exactly which colours work together, which combinations give the most versatility, and which shades her fellow face painters reach for time and time again. Palettes like the Fabulous Onestroke Palette and the Ethereal Bespoke Palette are perfect examples of this careful colour curation in action.
The Paints
Sally-Ann uses only the best — Partyxplosion, Superstar, Face Paints Australia and Diamond FX. She buys her paints just like you do, sometimes getting a small discount when buying in quantity, but always prioritising quality over cost.
The Process
Each palette is hand-made by Sally-Ann herself. She fills every section of the water-resistant foam palette with care and precision, ensuring a minimum of 140g of paint — and often more, especially in the double-sided styles. The whole process takes over an hour per palette.
Why She Won't Wholesale
Retailers have asked. The answer has always been no. Because the moment you start wholesaling, you lose the personal touch. Every palette that leaves Sally-Ann's hands has been made with care, attention and passion — and that's something you simply can't replicate at scale.
A Palette Made Just for You
When you order a bespoke palette, you're not just buying a product. You're getting something that has been made specifically for you, by someone who truly loves what they do. That's what makes these palettes so special — and why professional face painters keep coming back for more.
