🇪🇺 To Our European Union Followers
You might be wondering why we've had to make this change. Following the strict new customs updates that rolled out in July, the EU completely removed its tax-free minimum thresholds for overseas sellers. This means that if we continue to ship directly to you from the UK, your packages are now automatically hit with localised import VAT, a flat-rate customs duty on every order, and steep carrier handling fees at your border. To protect you from these unexpected costs and delivery holdups, we have made the decision to pause direct EU shipping on our website.
Additionally, due to the highly complex August 2026 packaging and import regulations enforced inside the European Union, we have made the business decision to permanently pause shipping to EU member states. This allows us to focus 100% of our energy on our UK and thriving global markets listed above.
⚠️ Please also note: Northern Ireland is excluded from this pause — even though it is not in the EU, we continue to ship there as normal.
🇳🇱 We Are Still Shipping to the Netherlands!
The Netherlands requires no packaging laws for businesses who sell under a certain weight/volume, so we are pleased to confirm we will continue to ship to the Netherlands. However, please be aware this could change with pressure from EU committees.
⚠️ Important Note for Our Dutch Customers (B2C & B2B)
Please note that we do not collect EU tax at checkout, so packages enter the Netherlands under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms.
For standard consumer orders totalling around £130 (including shipping), you will be charged:
- 21% Dutch VAT upon delivery
- A carrier handling fee (usually €10–€17.50)
If you are a VAT-exempt business customer and share your valid Dutch VAT number with us before shipping, you will not have to pay the 21% VAT at the door, as it can be postponed to your regular tax return.
Please also be aware that all customers (both consumer and business) must still pay the flat €3 EU import fee per distinct product category. If your order contains different types of items, a separate €3 fee applies to each category in the parcel.
